MIT (ex-Micron Technology Italia) was part of Micron Technology Inc. that is among the world leaders in innovative electronic technologies. In February 2013 MIT was acquired from Micron Technology Inc. by European leading foundry dedicated to analog mixed signal and specialized technologies LFoundry (headquarter in Landshut, Germany). All semiconductor fabrication facility assets in Avezzano became LFoundry and MIT officially changed its name to LFoundry S.r.l. on April 1, 2014. LFoundry Germany is a project’s third party with smaller involvement. |
